As the grueling two and a half years of working full time and going to school for my MBA has come to a close, I am now faced with a ridiculous amount of free time. What do normal people do after work and on weekends? Well, I've decided to make it my mission to find out. As tempting as it is to laze around for the next six months, coming home from work to a glass of wine and all of the reality television that I've missed, I've decided that someone that has now acquired a 'higher education' is probably expected to be a somewhat productive member of society.
So, through this blog, I plan to take you on my journey of crafting, fun recipes, wine, books, friends, shopping, fitness and anything else that I can think of. I frequently made a list of all of the things that I'd rather be doing while I was in school (which was a way for me to indulge my inner procrastinator), so now, I'm officially free to attack the list with reckless abandon.

Ok, I'm a pretty typical southern belle. I will always pick the shiniest thing in the case, think manners and monograms are a must, and love my friends and family to pieces. Take a glimpse into this whirlwind I call life, and I'll do my best to share my laugh until tears moments with you!
